
We provided the complete drafting and BIM coordination package necessary to legally separate an existing single-family home into a Primary Dwelling Unit and a Secondary Dwelling Unit (SDU). Our services included preparing all required documentation for the permit process: detailed architectural floor plans, elevations, and section views, alongside specific structural modification drawings for the removal of a load-bearing wall and installation of a new beam. We leveraged BIM to precisely coordinate architectural and structural elements with the HVAC design, ensuring the issuance of clash-free drawings that guarantee a costly rework-free construction process.
